We love hearing from our students no matter what they have to say, but when we hear of a student being published, we just want to shout it from the rooftops! We’re a little scared of heights, so we’ll go with a blog post instead.

I have been published online a few times but this is my first published article in a magazine! My article ‘Timing it Right' was published in the December issue of Practical Parenting.
I had this dream of being a writer. I researched and sought advice. One recurring piece of advice was to do the Australian Writers' Centre Magazine and Newspaper Writing course. Well am I glad I did. Just over 12 months later and I've been published a number of times. I never thought I could call myself a writer and I don't think I would ever have been able to had it not been for the Australian Writers' Centre.
The practical advice and supportive Facebook group has helped me persevere. And now I have my first glossy magazine byline!
