Katrina is a writer who specialises in travel, tourism, culture and the arts. She started working as a journalist more than 30 years ago, and was on staff at The Sydney Morning Herald for five years. These days, you'll find her jet-setting (and cruising) around the world writing stories for publications including The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, MiNDFOOD magazine, Explore Travel, TIME Magazine and many more. Her favourite places include Nashville, New Orleans, Japan and Fiji – but most of all she likes coming home to her house and dog.
Katrina was also a finalist at the 2022 National Travel Industry Awards (Most Outstanding Consumer Travel Journalist) and at the 2021 and 2020 Kennedy Awards (Outstanding Travel Writing).
