This is a useful course. It's clear, succinct, and covers a fair bit of ground with a range of content approaches and samples of how they are used in different contexts. Supplementary materials provide useful insights into the SME and big business markets.

I enjoyed the templates and different types of samples. Appreciate the bonus materials too. Clear presentation and easy to complete are big plusses.

As an intro to content writing, it was concise yet comprehensive. The templates are very useful as a framework for your content pieces and to spark your thought process.

The practical application to published work gave me a good understanding of the varied approaches to content writing. It has given me confidence to shape my ideas into a piece of writing.

I enjoyed listening to Valerie's professional but relatable content. Now I have the foundation to create blogs without having to 're-invent the wheel.' I feel more confident.

It's perfect if you have a thirst for learning something new in an engaging way.

The examples of different types of articles and how to write them were fabulous - so very helpful, and I will use them as regular references. The information was practical and useful, and the course was quite quick to get through. I will watch these modules more than once; an excellent course.

The templates and examples of each type of article were so valuable. Thanks, Valerie and AWC!

I feel more confident in offering the various types of articles, and the templates have given me a great way to organise my work and get started quickly topic to topic.

I wholeheartedly recommend AWC courses, as you will never find better value for money, time, quality and instruction than the AWC courses.

My workplace knew I loved to write and mostly in the creative space, however were keen to have me upskill for writing pieces for their online blog and socials. I'd previously completed a short course with AWC, and knew it would be straightforward, clear, and full of examples and ideas, and many more resources.

I really appreciated all the in-depth examples and clearly put concepts with formulas and videos. When writing my work's blogs, depending on what the piece is covering, I have an array of tools to refer to to ensure my writing is to the point, but has a nice point of difference.

I usually struggle with headings/headlines. So having a set formula for a catchy headline was great!

I have completed other courses with AWC, so I knew that when I needed help creating content for my newly launched website that this this course would meet my needs

The case studies were a perfect way to learn. I feel much more confident that I can create great content that will attract an audience over time.

I would highly recommend AWC for all types of writing - and that you will finish the course confident that you can start your writing journey.

The course is clear and concise with well-structured notes that are easy to follow. Valerie inspires confidence and uses strategic examples and case studies that leave the participant feeling like they can succeed.

The course provided me with a clear framework with which to approach content writing. The templates were invaluable for providing "structure." Understanding the various "angles" that can be applied to any given story gave me a way to "think" and tools that I could immediately apply. The course is outstanding. It meets the stated objectives.

It's awesome! I wouldn't think twice about the decision to do it. It's foundational for any serious content writer.

The AWC courses are always great, and this one was no exception. Short lectures and useful materials made it very quick and easy to do.

I feel confident that I will be able to offer my services as a content writer in addition to my copywriting services

Overall, this course was incredibly useful and enjoyable. I liked how the course offered an analytical and a practical approach and used templates and the case studies. I gained great insight into the many genres that content writers can write in. It is impossible not to be inspired and pick at least one or two to try out.

The headline module was a lot of fun. I had great fun trying out the headlines. It even inspired my creative writing.

This course helps you not only in creating better content, but also stimulates your critical thinking skills as it helps you to better analyse content and understand how some media use clickbait content to draw you in.

I like the self-paced nature of the course and extended access to the course audio and materials. It provided a good introduction to the different content structures, and the content examples helped to illustrate these.

I now read content more carefully, trying to identify the structure used by the writer. I also write more purposefully, using the formulas/structures to keep my content on topic.

I wasn't sure that I could transition to this type of writing, but I think that I can now.

Lots of good templates and ideas about what type of content writing is used. Also good advice about how to get involved in the industry. There is a formula and structure to help you along the way, and there is actually a huge industry out there for it.

I've recently finished the copywriting essentials and SEO copywriting courses and wanted to learn how content writing differentiates from copywriting in order to bridge any gaps. I really enjoyed that this is self-paced. It's allowed me time to fit this around work and family.

I enjoyed all of the example articles because they were not only a great way to show how each formula applied, they were also an interesting read.

I realised that I've actually been a content writer for years and that I'm totally allowed to call myself one and feel confident about it.

I had an 'aha!' moment when learning about thought leader pieces. I've been writing these for my family's small business for a while, drawing on the thoughts of the owner who truly is a thought leader in his field. However, I didn't realise they were called thought leader pieces and therefore haven't been writing them effectively. I can now apply what I've learned in this course to improve it.

The Australian Writers' Centre courses provide loads of valuable tips and templates you can apply to your writing straight away.

I like the very handy templates and the way Valerie presents her content. It was clear and adaptable.

I am going to write my first blog and I feel confident that I have the skills I need.

The course presented a useful mix of writing styles and applications as well as loads of supporting materials to see the theories being used in published articles and blogs.

The straight forward language that Valerie uses as well as a broad scope of applications and examples kept me interested and engaged.

The course has provided me with lots of frameworks with proven successful templates to use for future blog posts and other content creation.

The course provides well put together resources that are easy to follow and understand - a 'formula', if you like, for writing succinctly and with purpose.

Really great information. I will need to go over it again as there was a lot but it provided a good grounding.

It has given me more incentive to take the next step and write and gain experience.

I enjoyed the bonus information about writing for big businesses. You never know where writing opportunities might be.

It was nice to feel at ease and do it in my own time. I have a toddler who keeps me very busy plus I’m a teacher too so it’s nice to be able to do this in the free time I do get without deadlines or cut offs.

It’s given me the information I need to start blogging or even expand to perhaps seek out writing for a smaller business.

That’s it’s affordable, informative and gives you the ease and comfort to study in your own time while having the templates to keep that will help in all that you apply yourself to.

I wanted to get some writing guidance within content writing for various articles.

I liked the strategy templates and the ABC examples, the variety of articles. It was simply articulated which made each session enjoyable. The resources were great to use.

A well-structured writing course that was very beneficial for me.

It gives me the confidence to handle different types of articles.

I wanted to know more about the nuances of content writing vs copywriting, which is a course I had done previously. I feel that doing this course placed me in a better position to be able to write across a range of publications, websites or industries with confidence.

The added bonus is all the easy to follow templates which break it down into manageable chunks, so you can present your writing in a clear, concise way.

I signed up for the Blogging for Beginners course and thought this one would go well with it to build my knowledge & understanding. It was easy to follow. It all flowed well.

I didn't know how to start writing content before. It's taken the hesitation away and I feel confident to start now, using the templates. It's not brain science! Just need to use a structure, and start!
