What’s it like to learn with AWC?

I'm a former property journalist who went into corporate comms and am now looking to go into freelance real estate copywriting and wanted to brush up on my skills.

I liked that I could do it at my own pace. I liked hearing the case studies and the final module was probably what I found most helpful, simply because of my background in property writing.

It's given me confidence that I know what I'm doing, I know how to write a listing and it's given me the kick I needed to start reaching out to old and new contacts.

I've recommended AWC before, time and time again! This is my second course and I love how easy it is to log on and do all the study and I love what's offered. For someone like me (part-time work and a 2yo) it's great to have the simplicity and flexibility of these courses.

This course felt very generous in its divulging of knowledge in such a short time frame. I was quite drawn to the presenter's real-life experiences and positivity. I also love the resources we were provided, particularly the check list template.

The course gave me the confidence to put myself out there. I am now writing for a local agent and subcontracting for another property copywriter when she is busy.

I'd 100% recommend the Australian Writers' Centre to anyone with an interest in writing. There is a course to suit everyone and they are comprehensive, interesting and the presenters/tutors are engaging and knowledgeable.

Fantastic courses, easy to complete!

Having completed the Copywriting Essentials course (and loving it), I decided to add real estate writing to my arsenal as I set up my copywriting business so I have more skills to offer my future clients.

I liked that the course was delivered with a sense of humour. I found myself looking forward to each new module. The tips were practical and I felt it covered everything that I needed to know.

This course gave me the confidence to take the first step towards finding my first client. It was delivered in a very aspirational and positive way, making the world of copywriting seem very inviting and the goal of becoming a real estate copywriter achievable!

There was so much useful and practical information available in this course combined with tips and personal experience.

The body copy that my agent received when my beautiful house was recently placed on the property market was way under par and, to say the least, disappointing. My agent was at a loss as to what to do. I asked if I could have a go, even though I had not completed Dean’s course. Long story short, the house sold, the agent’s office wanted to know who wrote the script and bam ... eight copy writing jobs later, I am writing a review for this course.
